Watch This! The Top 10 cell phone radiation emitters!

Hal Brice - Saturday, October 31, 2009
The Environmental Working Group has just released a list of the top 10 worst cell phones in terms of radiation.  Here's the story as it was covered on CNN.

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2009/09/15/todd.cell.phone.risk.cnn

Remember, if you absolutely must use a cell phone, make sure you use an air tube headset.  It's the only way proven to protect yourself from potentially cancer-causing EMF's.

You know when the Government get's involved. . .

Well, the Senate held hearings, that's Good.  At least they're making some effort to do something.  They're letting the general public know, there is something to be concerned about. There's a good recap in this newspaper, so please do check out the
Philadelphia Bulletin, then, one more time, take care of yourself--that phone might not give you brain cancer but there certainly NO reason your body can benefit by being subjected to any radiation.  You don't put your head up to a microwave, so use that same wisdom when it comes to your cell.  BE HEALTHY!!!   Feel Good.

Dr. says cell phones + kids = cancer

Joni Brice - Tuesday, March 24, 2009
A group of scientists is urging 6 major countries to impose strict safety standards for kids and cell phones.  This all came about after a study was published linking cell phone use with kids under 20, to a five-fold risk increase in brain cancer.  You can link to the story here--but meanwhile MAKE sure that one of your rules for your kids:  Speaker phone OR Aircom hollow tube headset!
To you health!   THE STORY

Cell Phone Dangers--Research Summary

Hal Brice - Friday, March 20, 2009
Ivanhoe.com is a great resource to keep you up to date on the latest research in conventional medicine.
Interestingly, for the last two weeks in a row, one of the top stories on the site has been about the dangers of using cellphones.  As you'll see below, the scientific answer to the risk:  Talk less!  Or, use an aircom headset!

CLEVELAND (Ivanhoe Newswire) -- More than 3 billion people have them worldwide. More than 90 percent of the Western world uses them. Americans average about 13 hours a month talking on them. However, there are some downsides to using that device we just can't seem to get enough of.

Men: beware! A new study shows cell phone usage may be linked to infertility problems.

"There was degradation in the quality of the sperm in the group which was exposed to the cell phone for one hour," Ashok Agarwal, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic, told Ivanhoe.

Men who used their cell phones for more than four hours per day had the lowest quality of sperm.

Another recent study showed heavy cell phone use is linked to a 50-percent increased risk for developing tumors of the salivary gland.

Studies show it takes twice as long for a person to fall asleep after talking on a cell phone for just 30 minutes.

Here's another downside: You could get what doctors call "mobile phone dermatitis" or a rash in reaction to the nickel in some cell phones.

Your hands aren't free of risk either. Those who send a lot of texts may be at risk for blackberry thumb -- sore digits from overuse and repetition.

Experts recommend using hands-free devices and when talking, holding the phone away from the body. Less frequent calls that are shorter in duration may also be a good precautionary step.

Let's see, low sperm count, tumors, lack of sleep and dermatitis.  Let's avoid all that and get smarter about protecting ourselves from EMF's!

Some say YES, some say MAYBE NOT

This is really amazing.  And it actually happens almost everyday.  Somewhere, some News company shares a story and lands on one side of the scary, raging, radiation debate. Look at this- 3 newspapers 3 different cellphone viewpoints. As you read these, think about how long the tobacco industry claimed cigarettes were "safe".
Ringing the Cellphone Alarm tells Moms and Dads to be very careful about their kids using cellphones.   This story of of caution is from a reporter who has been following the issue for 15 years.
The other Cell phone a boon for schools talks about how the cell phone industry and the American Cancer Foundation say that cell phones are unlikely to cause cancer as the article gets super excited about the money the towers parked in the schools' backyard will bring in.  The principal actually is quoted saying it's like CHRISTMAS!
Counter that with this story about an nursing home's REFUSAL to allow the cellphone towers on THEIR roof.  Roselyn Board denies Cell Phone towers
Yep. Opinions. Mine is Better Safe Than Sorry!

Cell phone Melanoma--a FIRST for this Laguna Dr.

Joni Brice - Wednesday, October 22, 2008
Here's a personal story:  I took one of my headsets in to show my longtime ENT and very much respected local physician Dr. Kent  Combs.  We talked about the Aircom and the earbud.  I asked what he thought about it and he said it seemed like a good idea.  I told him how Bluetooths we're very scary and suspect as they are continually sending at albiet "weaker" signal--but still the signal is somewhat constant--He said he had actually seen his FIRST melanoma in the ear--ON a BLUETOOTH user!!  Please don't use the Bluetooths or Jabra's.  They are a risk not worth taking.

Cell phone Rash

Joni Brice - Thursday, October 16, 2008
Here's another issue with the cell phones--The Association of British Dermatologists warns against a rash caused by nickel in mobile phones: MSNBC reports.  Good news: There's no nickel in the RF3 hollow tube headsets!

Are cell phones bad or not? Do the "experts" know? Do you?

Joni Brice - Saturday, September 27, 2008
A report came out in the latest Economist discussing a big study multi-year study on the health effects of cell phones.  The study took place in 14 countries around the world, started in 2000 and ended in 2006.  The issue with the Interpool study is that it produced a lot of contradictory data because of some flawed research.  You can hit the link at the end of the story here and read it yourself.  But basically what it says to me is that so far, we're on our own.  The Government or a Scientific watchdog organization is not going to jump out and defend or protect us  or our kids just yet.
It's up to me, it's up to you.  It's our choice you put the phone up to our ears.  It's our choice to use it.  It's a definite fact that the cell phone emits emfs-electromagnetic fields.  Its a fact that they are they are "microwaves" and that they are a type of "radiation."  You can see the waves of radiation  when you watch the videos on this site. You can see how the meters pick them up--just like the ones coming out of the microwave oven.  We know that these waves definitely alter our biochemistry.  We just don't know(for the "experts" that this altered biochemistry then goes on to produces any one of the various scary labels: cancer, infertility, aneurysms, ADD, Parkinsons, etc.

So doesn't it make sense to play it safe--rather than be sorry?

I just cut a video showing a dirty glass of water next to a clean one-- Sure you can drink the dirty one and you may or you may not get sick. But if you choose the clean clear water, chances are much better that you won't get sick and you'll just feel better about the water your drinking--or your family's drinking. Likewise, you can put the cell phone to your ear and experience all those "waves" of radiation going into your head and something--some damage--may or may not happen.  But if you use a headset with an airtube that's PROVEN to stop those radio/microwaves from getting into your ear, then, just like the clean, clear water, you feel better and you are certainly safer.

Here's the story from the Economist

kids and Cell Phones Risk of Cancer. Real or fake?

Joni Brice - Wednesday, September 24, 2008
Moms and Dads are coming to this blog now--looking for information. Report after report all over the world, including a recent one from ABC7, "Cell phone use by kids increases risk of brain cancer by five times."  I wouldn't panic--I' would do something.  MAKE your kids use the speakerphone. Watch the videos 1-, or this one , both show the radiation coming out of the phone!  Both show the ONLY thing that works--other than speaker-is a hollow tube headset. It comes in a stereo for the iphone/blackberry and then universal with one earpiece which fits almost all phones.  Explore this site, read the other blogs.  I've done my research!!!

Details:Cell phones increase cancer risk to kids fivefold

Joni Brice - Monday, September 22, 2008
I'm just so concerned about the recent report that Children have a five fold greater risk for brain cancer and tumors from cell or mobile phone usage that I've explored it even more.  The news was reported yesterday from London to Sydney about research analyzed and summarized at the Radiation Research Trust International Conference held in the UK September 8th and 9th.
The Radiation Research Trust is a non-profit in the UK set up to educate, research, lobby and campaign in Europe for emf safety.  This year they gathered major players from degreed engineers to notable physiologists, Research Doctors, Medical Doctors, Lawyers and dignitaries all with a focus on electromagnetic energy and what the spill off is doing to our bodies and our environment.  You can check this link and read the impressive biographies of the speakers at this invitation only event.
One of the speakers,Professor Lennart Hardell of the University Hospital in Orebro, Sweden presented the report about children's risk of brain cancer and tumors being five times higher if they've grown up using a cell phone.  I'm sure there will be more and more of the findings and conclusions from this symposium made public in the next few weeks.  Please check back and I'll share this information as it comes. Meanwhile if you want to read the link to the London Independent here it is.
